Oscar Piastri: Impressive Victory in Miami

Piastri has strengthened his lead in the World Championship by clinching his fourth victory of the season at the Miami Grand Prix, the Australian leading home team mate Lando Norris to seal a dominant 1-2 for McLaren, Formula1.com reports.

Analysis:

It was a determined drive for Piastri who charged from fourth on the starting grid to pick off the leaders one-by-one. By lap 13 he would run down leader Max Verstappen and overtake him for the lead. Piastri would build up a big margin and pit on lap 29 but not relinquish the lead. The McLaren youngster would maintain a good gap back to Norris and cross the finish line 4.6-seconds ahead of his teammate for the win. It was Piastri's fourth victory of the season.
