Pierre Gasly: Crash and DNF in Saudi Arabia
Gasly crashed and finished 20th in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Sunday evening.
Analysis:
Gasly had qualified so well and started ninth on the grid. The hopes for points for the Alpine veteran would soon fade as he would find trouble on lap 1. Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda would come together hard with contact on both the sidepods and the tyres. Both cars would crash after the collision with Tsunoda continuing on and Gasly too damaged to continue. Both cars would soon retire and hang Gasly with the disappointing 20th-place finish. He'll look to rebound next round out in Miami.
