Liam Lawson: Penalty in Jeddah
Lawson finished 12th in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Sunday evening.
Analysis:
Lawson started 12th on the grid after a reasonably good qualifying effort on Saturday in Jeddah. The Racing Bulls youngster would engage in a lot of mid-pack battles throughout this grand prix. But it would be his battle late in the race with Jack Doohan that would draw the eyes of the stewards. Hadjar would be ruled to have left the track and gained an advantage during that battle. He would be hit with a 10-second time penalty and that would demote him from 11th to 12th-place after the checkered flag.
