Max Verstappen: P2 at Jeddah
Verstappen finished second in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Sunday evening.
Analysis:
Verstappen would get a tough wheel-to-wheel battle into turn 1 after the lights out from Oscar Piastri. The Red Bull Racing star would retain the lead but only because he went off track and gained an advantage through the outside of the turn. Verstappen would lead all the way to his opening pitstop on lap 21 but would have to serve a 5-second penalty for his off-track excursion. That would put him on the comeback trail the rest of the race. Verstappen could only manage to close within 3-seconds of Piastri in the closing laps and would have to settle for the runner-up finish in Saudi Arabia.
