Nico Hulkenberg: Slips back in Shanghai

Hulkenberg finished 15th in the Chinese Grand Prix F1 race at Shanghai International Circuit on Sunday.

Analysis:

Hulkenberg got the most out of his car in qualifying and started 12th on the grid, setting himself up as a surprise contender for points for the second consecutive week. However, he spun on the opening lap which caused him to go over the curb and gravel, compromising the rest of his initial run while also causing him to lose some of the aerodynamics of his car. Hulkenberg has been competitive this season and could scrap for points once again in the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix.
