Daniel Ricciardo: P15 in Miami Grand Prix

Ricciardo finished 15th in the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Miami International Autodrome on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Ricciardo would start dead last after a 3-spot grid penalty for overtaking during the safety car in the previous round of competition. That would make his day a long, hard battle in the South Florida sun. Ricciardo would use a long opening stint to promote to P10 by his lap stop under the safety car on lap 28. That would be to the veteran RB driver's advantage, but would only hold him in the middle teens. Ricciardo would fight a fierce rear-pack battle in the closing laps to secure P15 in the Miami GP.
