Carlos Sainz Jr: Wins in return
Sainz won the Australian Grand Prix F1 race at Albert Park Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Sainz returned to action after missing the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix with appendicitis. He did so in glorious fashion, qualifying second before taking home the win on race day. Sainz was out in front of the field for much of the race, as he overtook Max Verstappen on the second lap. Verstappen was forced to retire shortly thereafter, allowing Sainz to control the race. It's unclear if the Ferrari would have had enough pace to hold off Verstappen over the full length of the race, but we should get a clearer picture at Japanese Grand Prix on the weekend of April 7.
