Nico Hulkenberg: Engine Failure in Montreal
Hulkenberg suffered an engine failure during second practice for the Canadian Grand Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve Friday afternoon.
Analysis:
The Haas F1 veteran would manage only 11 laps in this extended FP2 ahead of Sunday's Canadian GP. Hulkenberg would come to a stop on track with smoke coming from the rear of his car. The engine failure would prematurely end his practice session and return him to the garage area with the 20th-fastest lap of the practice. Hulkenberg will look to regroup and rebound ahead of Saturday's pole qualifying session.
