Charles Leclerc: Slips to third
Leclerc finished third at the Japanese Grand Prix F1 race at Suzuka Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Leclerc got a better start than Max Verstappen to begin the race but was still trailing by the first turn. Upon a lengthy red flag, Leclerc never challenged Verstappen again and was instead hounded by Sergio Perez for second place. Leclerc held the second position until the final turn of the race, when he went off track and rejoined to take an advantage over Perez. As a result, he was penalized five seconds and finished third. Leclerc's dreams of a driver championship are over for the season, and he'll instead battle Perez for second.
