Hamilton claims Styrian GP, Ferraris crash out on 1st lap
Lewis Hamilton returned to the podium in Austria, comfortably claiming the Styrian GP for his first win of 2020 and 85th of his career.
The Mercedes driver finished fourth last weekend on the same track after receiving a penalty, but claimed the pole Saturday and was never really challenged Sunday.
"The team did a fantastic job with their strategy," Hamilton said following the race. "I'm so grateful to be back in first place. It feels like a long time coming. This is a great, great step forward. I love back-to-back (races). I could do it all season long."
Austrian GP winner and fellow Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas finished second, while Red Bull's Max Verstappen landed on the podium in third after being forced to retire last race.
