Daniel Ricciardo is embracing Mamba Mentality heading into the new Formula One season.
The Renault driver paid tribute to Kobe Bryant during preseason testing with a purple helmet inspired by the late Los Angeles Lakers legend. It features an image of a snake on the front and "Mamba Mentality" written on top.
Ricciardo, a native of Australia, purchased a home in Los Angeles in 2018.
Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, on Jan. 26 along with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others.
