VIDEO: Club America somehow blows tap-in from inches out in CCL final

It was easier to score.

After Montreal opened the scoring in the early minutes of Wednesday's CONCACAF Champions League final, Club America looked to hit back with a quick equalizer.

They should have found it.

After a free-kick was lofted into the penalty area and headed back across the goal, Dario Benedetto found himself with a simple tap-in to bring the Mexican club level. Between him and the equalizer stood nothing but air.

Apparently, that was enough.

Should Club America lose this contest, Benedetto will likely be seeing that miss in his dreams for the foreseeable future.
