Bogut not ruling out NBA comeback, has to be 'the right situation'

Andrew Bogut has two main goals: to be around his family more and to represent Australia at the Olympics next summer in Tokyo. It's part of the reason why he's plying his trade Down Under this winter.

However, the 34-year-old isn't ruling out a stateside return if there's a possibility to join a title contender next spring.

"At the end of the season, if that opportunity arises again to go to the NBA, I'll definitely listen," Bogut said at media day for the NBL's Sydney Kings, according to Fox Sports Australia's Olgun Uluc.

The former No. 1 overall pick will suit up for the Kings for the second straight year, but Bogut has already once returned for the tail end of an NBA campaign upon the conclusion of his season in Australia.

Bogut signed with the Golden State Warriors in March, appearing in 30 games between the regular season and playoffs for his former team.

"I'd never say no, but it'd have to be the right situation," Bogut said. "It's not a matter of going back at all costs, or just going back to go back. It'll be going back, if I can go on a team that's contending for a title, if I can help them with seven or eight minutes a game - similar to Golden State - I'd definitely consider it."
