Luis Scola still has something left in the tank.

The 39-year-old power forward reached an agreement to join Italian powerhouse Olimpia Milano, the team announced Sunday.

Having played in the China Basketball Association for the past two years since last appearing in the NBA during the 2016-17 season, Scola's deal with Milano is at least partially a testament to his strong summer with the Argentinian national team.

The last of his country's "Golden Generation," Scola captained Argentina to a gold medal at the 2019 Pan Am Games in August, then an improbable silver medal at the World Cup in China earlier this month. He averaged a team-high 17.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game in the latter tournament.

For his efforts, Scola was named to the World Cup's All-Tournament Team - the only honoree who isn't currently in the NBA and the oldest by nearly five years.
