Tim Krul withdrawn from Netherlands squad with elbow injury

An elbow injury has forced Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul to be withdrawn from Dutch national team.
Krul, who suffered the injury during a training session on Saturday, will be replaced by Kenneth Vermeer.
Vermeer likely won't see any playing time during the country's next European Championship qualifier against Iceland, as Jasper Cillessen has a firm grip on Holland's starting job.
The news is bitterly disappointing for Newcastle if Krul is forced to miss an extended period of time as the club sits in a three-way tie for last place in the Premier League with four points through seven matches.
