Kingsley Coman etched his name in the French record books in the opening match of Euro 2016.

By virtue of his appearance as a second-half substitute in Friday's contest against Romania, a 2-1 victory for the home side, the fleet-footed Bayern Munich teenager became the youngest player to ever feature in a major international tournament for Les Bleus.

At 19 years and 11 months old, Coman surpassed the previous benchmark set by Karim Benzema; the striker was 20 years (and 173 days) old when he made his tournament debut at Euro 2008 - ironically enough, also against Romania.
