Albania unveils 23-man Euro 2016 squad
Coach Giovanni De Biasi trimmed the Albania national team down Tuesday and revealed who's headed to France next month just hours before the deadline to submit rosters.
Defender Berat Djimsiti highlights the most notable names to be omitted from the 23-man team set to compete in the country's first major tournament.
Young forward Rashica was another surprise exclusion from De Biasi's team after the 19-year-old was named to the provisional squad over the Algerian Super League's leading scorer Hamdi Salihi.
Albania will begin its Euro 2016 journey June 11 against Switzerland.
