Girona keep rolling with win over Cadiz
Aleix Garcia's tidy strike sent Girona provisionally back top of La Liga with a 1-0 win at Cadiz on Saturday.
Michel's side moved a point clear of previous leaders Real Madrid before the capital club reclaimed top spot later Saturday with a 4-0 victory over Osasuna.
Cadiz gave themselves an uphill struggle when Darwin Machis was sent off after 10 minutes for a high lunge which caught Yangel Herrera's hand.
The Yellow Submarine still managed to play their part in an end-to-end clash, ultimately decided by Garcia's strike just before the hour mark.
Girona's playmaker swept home brilliantly from outside the area to put his team ahead against their mid-table opponents.
The visitors survived a wave of Cadiz pressure in the final stages to take back top spot, at least for the time being.
Champions Barcelona, third, visit Granada on Sunday.
