Denis Suarez may get his career back on track at Arsenal.

Suarez's representatives have offered the midfielder's services to various clubs after being informed Barcelona would sanction his sale, according to The Independent's Ed Malyon. Unai Emery's Gunners have reportedly emerged as early frontrunners to strike a bargain £14-million deal, with Chelsea apparently also registering interest.

The 24-year-old played under Emery at Sevilla and is looking for regular first-team football after being restricted to just eight La Liga minutes by Blaugrana boss Ernesto Valverde this season. The former Manchester City youngster would also represent an ideal replacement for Aaron Ramsey, who looks set to leave Arsenal when his contract expires next summer.

Barcelona have offloaded Suarez before. Villarreal signed the playmaker in 2015 but Barcelona triggered a £3.1-million buyback clause written into his contract after an impressive campaign for the Yellow Submarine.

In the three subsequent seasons, Suarez has started 16 league matches for Barcelona. He has only been involved from the opening whistle in two legs of Copa del Rey action against third-tier Cultural Leonesa this term, scoring twice in the second meeting at Camp Nou.
