West Ham supporters got their first glimpse of new signing Pedro Mba Obiang on Saturday.

The Spanish midfielder, who arrived from Sampdoria in June, made his debut against Leicester City, coming on as a halftime substitute.

Slaven Bilic introduced Obiang in an effort to help West Ham reduce its two-goal deficit, and replace a struggling Reece Oxford, whose failure to mark Riyad Mahrez resulted in Leicester's second goal.

A leg injury prevented him from making his first West Ham appearance during the team's opening-day 2-0 victory against Arsenal.
