After notching what proved to be the winner in Newcastle's 3-2 win over Everton on Sunday, Colback scored again in the first half of his side's New Year's Day fixture versus Burnley, launching a 25-yard screamer past Tom Heaton, off the upright, and into the back of the net.
The goal also marked a Premier League milestone for the season.
