The Football Association is taking action over the disorder that marred Everton's 2-1 win over West Ham just before the interval on Saturday.

Specifically, both clubs have been charged with failure to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

While the FA states that the charge is the result of the trouble that occurred "around the 40th minute of the fixture," a number of incidents took place throughout the match, including one where James Tomkins theatrically fell to the floor holding his face after a shove to the chest from Kevin Mirallas.

Everton and West Ham have until Dec. 1 to respond to the charge.
