Victor Wanyama took a step in the right direction Monday as he recovers from a knee injury, taking part in a training session with his Tottenham teammates.
Wanyama last featured during Tottenham's 2-1 loss to Chelsea on Aug. 20 before suffering the injury during a practice later in the month.
He didn't take part in the entire session Monday but managed to join the team for a portion of it.
There's no word on whether he will regain fitness in time for Tottenham's busy holiday schedule.
Wanyama played a prominent role during the club's second-place finish last season, starting 35 of 38 Premier League matches.
