Former United States men's national team manager Jurgen Klinsmann said there's "no truth" to reports linking him with a move to second-tier Sunderland.

Out of work since getting sacked by the U.S. in November, Klinsmann had been rumoured for the Black Cats' gig as David Moyes' successor in light of a takeover attempt by a German consortium.

Union Berlin manager Jens Keller has also been linked with the Sunderland appointment that has been vacant since Moyes resigned after leading the Wearside club to a last-place finish and a date with Championship football.
