On the heels of winning his seventh FA Cup trophy, Arsene Wenger revealed his future as Arsenal manager will become "clearer" later this week, according to the BBC.

Wenger couldn't escape questions about his future Saturday as he celebrated with his players at Wembley Stadium after becoming the most successful manager in FA Cup history with a 2-1 victory over 10-man Chelsea.

With his contract set to expire this summer, Wenger said he expects to discover what the future holds after a board meeting Tuesday.

"I've always been very clear on that," Wenger said when asked if he wanted to return next season. "We have a board meeting on Tuesday. And on Wednesday or Thursday it will be clearer."

Saturday's triumph over Chelsea secured a record 13th FA Cup title as the north London outfit edged past Manchester United for most trophies won in the competition.

Alexis Sanchez got the scoring started with a controversial opener four minutes in. Diego Costa found the back of Arsenal's net with 10 minutes remaining, but Aaron Ramsey cancelled out Chelsea's equaliser just seconds later.

Wenger was beaming with pride afterward as he praised Arsenal's spirit and and looked back on his incredible success in the FA Cup.

"We had an outstanding performance from the first minute onwards," he told reporters. "This team has suffered. They've united and responded. I said last week this team will be in the championship with one or two good buys. They showed strength and unity and played spectacular football today.

"I'm proud to have won seven of these cups. I'm proud having done this - winning the championship without losing and winning seven FA Cups."
