Manchester City has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association (FA) for failing to control its players during a dispute in the 50th minute of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
The incident is believed to have taken place when referee Michael Oliver awarded a penalty to Liverpool after defender Gael Clichy was adjudged to have fouled Roberto Firmino in the box.

Clichy's teammates came to his aid and protested the call before and after James Milner converted the penalty.
Clichy was shown a yellow card, while David Silva was also cautioned for disputing the official's decision.
A brief statement on the FA's website read: "It is alleged that in or around the 50th minute of the fixture, the club failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion."
The club has until 6 p.m. Thursday to respond to the charge.
