The Reds' publisher Sport Media was perhaps inspired by the effort it encountered in the previous round at Home Park in Devon, when Liverpool edged past fourth-tier Plymouth Argyle with a 1-0 win on Jan. 18.

The weekend's early kick-off at Anfield was the second match in the latest stage of the FA Cup, after Premier League champion Leicester City took a 2-2 draw from the Championship's Derby County on Friday.
