The United States is running away with the Ryder Cup after another 3-1 win in morning foursomes stretched the advantage over Europe to 9-3 at Whistling Straits.

The Americans now need just 5.5 points from the afternoon's four-ball sessions and Sunday's singles combined to win the Cup for the second straight time on home soil.

Here are the scores from Saturday morning.

The Spaniards continued their winning ways on Saturday morning, albeit in a much more dramatic fashion this time around. Koepka and Berger stormed out of the gates, winning the first three holes of the match before Rahm and Garcia righted the ship. The Europeans won eight of the final 14 holes of the match to walk off with a 3&1 victory. With the victory, Garcia reached 24 career match wins in the Ryder Cup, making him the winningest player in the event's history. Rahm remains unbeatable despite the American dominance thus far, returning 2.5 points from his three matches played.

Match 2: Johnson/Morikawa 2&1 over Casey/Hatton

Johnson kept his record at this year's Ryder Cup perfect with another foursomes victory alongside Morikawa. The duo replicated their success from Friday morning with five more birdies to see Casey and Hatton off 2&1. The Europeans mounted a valiant comeback on the back nine fueled by Casey's hole-out on No. 14 but ran out of holes in the end. The World No. 2 is now 3-0 at the event and has as many points as the entire European team, while Casey drops to 0-3 over three sessions.

Match 3: Thomas/Spieth 2-up over Hovland/Wiesberger

For the second session in a row, Thomas was part of a big comeback to flip his match. The Americans trailed all day but vaulted into the lead after winning three straight holes from 14-16. Thomas' incredible 3-wood on the par-5 16th was the key to setting up Spieth for a decisive eagle. The triumph represents Spieth's first points of the event, while Thomas is now 1-1-1 after three sessions.

Match 4: Schauffele/Cantlay 2&1 over Westwood/Fitzpatrick

Schauffele joined Johnson as the only Americans to go 3-0 through three sessions by teaming with Cantlay for yet another foursomes victory. A back-and-forth match shifted in the United States' favor for good after wins on the 9th, 10th, and 11th holes, with the pair coasting in for an eventual triumph. Westwood and Fitzpatrick are both 0-2 for the event, with the younger Englishman yet to register a point in four career Ryder Cup matches.
