Jason Day and Matthew Wolff are among the group of Masters competitors who failed to crack the even-par cutline and advance to the final two rounds at Augusta National.

Day was in a good position after carding 2-under in Round 1 but plummeted down by completing a 6-over 78 on Saturday morning. This is just the second time the Aussie won't compete on the weekend at the Masters in 10 starts - the first being when he withdrew in 2002.

After posting top-five results in his first two major starts, Wolff couldn't handle Augusta on Friday. He shot 77 in Round 2 to finish at 3-over.

Tyrrell Hatton, the top-ranked Englishman at No. 9, also failed to qualify for Round 3. He's been one of the hottest players in golf since the PGA Tour restart in June.

Eight players felt the impact of Augusta's revision to the cut rule prior to this week's tournament. Byeong Hun An, Max Homa, Andrew Putnam, Adam Hadwin, Matt Kuchar, Henrik Stenson, Gary Woodland, and Graeme McDowell would have qualified for the cut if being within 10 shots of the lead was still good enough to make the weekend.
