Xander Schauffele didn't just claim his first PGA Tour title on Sunday, he also joined six others in getting an exemption into the British Open.

Richie Ramsay, David Drysdale, Ryan Fox, Sebastian Munoz, Jamie Lovemark, Robert Streb, and Schauffele, all grabbed spots in the 146th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.

Streb finished in second at The Greenbrier, while Lovemark and Munoz tied for third place. It's Streb's third straight showing in golf's oldest major, Lovemark's second appearance, and Munoz will make his debut at Birkdale.

Three spots were at stake this week in Northern Ireland for players who hadn't earned a spot and finished in the top 10 at Portstewart Golf Club. Ramsay finished in second place at 18-under par, while Drysdale and Fox tied for fourth place at 17-under.

It'll mark the seventh career Open for Ramsay, while Drysdale is heading back for the first time since 2009, and Fox is making his first trip to the British Open.

Daniel Im's bogey at the 72nd hole dropped him into a tie for fourth place, and he missed a chance to qualify due to a lower world ranking than Fox and Drysdale.
