Neil Harris to step down as Millwall boss after weekend
Neil Harris's second spell in charge of English Championship side Millwall will come to an end after this weekend's trip to Middlesbrough, the London club announced on Tuesday.
Harris, who coached the Lions between 2015 and 2019, returned to The Den in February.
The 47-year-old successfully guided Millwall clear of relegation danger last season to finish 13th.
They sit 11th in the Championship table, six points adrift of the playoff places.
Harris will still take charge of their next two matches, at home to Sheffield United on Wednesday before the trip to Teeside.
"After discussions with Neil in recent days, he felt it was the right time to step down from the role following the Middlesbrough game and I have accepted his decision," said Millwall chairman James Berylson.
"I want to thank Neil for all his efforts since returning to the club and we will be forever grateful to him for that."
