Shrewsbury Town earned another date with Liverpool.

Two second-half goals from Jason Cummings erased the Reds' 2-0 lead in Sunday's fourth-round FA Cup clash at New Meadow, ensuring the League One side will get another crack at the Premier League leaders next month at Anfield.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp didn't hide his Premier League focus prior to the match, making 11 changes to the side that squeaked past Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier in the week.

That approach, which paid dividends in the third round against Everton, looked like it would work out once more after a Curtis Jones tally and freak own goal from Donald Love gave the visitors a two-goal lead early in the second half.

But Cummings' 60th-minute introduction turned the tide.

Shrewsbury, who carried the bulk of the play after the interval, cut Liverpool's lead in half when the Scottish attacker converted from the penalty spot just five minutes after stepping onto the pitch.

Cummings then slid home the equalizer in the 75th minute.

Klopp responded by bringing star forwards Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino off the bench in a late bid to avoid a replay, but Shrewsbury held out for the 2-2 draw, sparking a pitch invasion at the final whistle.
