Middlesbrough's Victor Valdes: Concedes one in draw
Valdes conceded one goal while making six saves in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Manchester City.
Analysis:
Valdes did well to hold City to one goal as his squad packed it in defensively, allowing City to take 25 shots. Valdes has performed well in his last two matches against top squads, Arsenal and City, making 12 saves while only conceding one. In tough matches Boro has shown its willingness to play a defensive match making Valdes a candidate for an increased number of saves. Valdes will face another tough match, after the international break, against Chelsea on Nov. 20.
