Laurent Koscielny: Achilles Still an Issue
Koscielny was sent home from international duty due to his continued Achilles' issue, and he is an injury doubt for Arsenal's Premier League match against Hull City on Oct. 18, The Guardian reports.
Analysis:
Koscielny has been suffering pain in both of his feet, and given his limited availability for France, the federation decided to send him back to London for treatment with the club. Arsenal will need him as fit as possible, as they don't have much depth at centreback after Calum Chambers picked up a one-match ban for yellow card accumulation that will see him sit for the Hull match.
