Fabio Borini: Starts Against West Ham
Borini started Liverpool's Premier League match against West Ham on Saturday and took three shots, with two on goal, before being subbed off in the 75th minute for Rickie Lambert.
Analysis:
Borini decided to stick around Anfield after being told he wouldn't have much of a future at the club, but he has now come on as a sub in a Champions League match (Tuesday against Ludogorets) and now gets his first Premier League start in more than a year. While his playing time is a result of Daniel Sturridge's hamstring injury, Borini could be moving ahead of Rickie Lambert on the depth chart. Even if Sturridge comes back next weekend for the Liverpool derby, it's possible Borini could continue to play as a sub behind him.
