Evans was not able to recover from his calf injury in time to play Saturday against Aston Villa.

Analysis:

Evans has not played since suffering his injury back on February 1 against Stoke, although he will likely face yet another late fitness test ahead of Tuesday's Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
