Diogo Jota isn't just one of the most talented players with a ball at his feet; the Liverpool winger is also supremely gifted with a PlayStation controller in his hands.

The 24-year-old has been busy since going down with a serious injury in December, as he recently managed to perfect his play on the digital pitch to become the world's top-ranked player on PlayStation's FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Champions leaderboard.

Jota's achievement was posted on his esports Twitter account after he finished the week with a perfect 30-0 record.

His reign didn't last long, however, as Jota ranked second on the leaderboard as of Saturday afternoon.

He announced himself to the world of digital football last April after the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. Jota - then still a member of Wolverhampton - beat future teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold to win the Premier League's FIFA 20 tournament.

Jota was ruled out for six-to-eight weeks after suffering a knee injury during a 1-1 Champions League draw against FC Midtjylland on Dec. 9. His ailment halted what had been a bright start with the Reds after he scored nine goals in his first 17 games with Liverpool.
