The amount of COVID-19 cases in the Premier League continues to fall.

There were only eight positive results among the 2,518 players and club staff tested over two rounds of testing between Jan. 18 and Jan. 24, the Premier League announced on Monday.

That's a sizable drop from three weeks ago, when the Premier League reported a record 40 new cases.

The league's case count has dropped steadily in the weeks since, with just 16 positives reported last week.
