It was one of the most one-sided football games you'll ever see.

Leicester City blitzed Southampton for nine unanswered goals Friday at St Mary's, and the records appeared to fall with each one.

Here are the seven most impressive stats behind Leicester's cold-blooded 9-0 win:

2: Leicester join Arsenal as the only teams to have two players (Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez) record hat-tricks in a single Premier League match. Jermaine Pennant and Robert Pires scored three goals apiece against Southampton in May 2003.

3: Southampton have had a player sent off in each of their last three Premier League games against Leicester. Ryan Bertrand was sent off in the 12th minute on Friday for a studs-up challenge on Perez.

5: Leicester became the second team in Premier League history to score five goals in the first half of an away match. Manchester City achieved the feat against Burnley in April 2010.

9: Southampton conceded more goals to Leicester on Friday than Sheffield United have conceded all season.

9: The Foxes tied Manchester United for the largest margin of victory in a Premier League match. United set the benchmark with a 9-0 win over Ipswich Town in March 1995.

19: Leicester roared to a 3-0 lead within the first 19 minutes of play, the fastest they've scored three goals in a Premier League game since April 1998.

131: No team in all 131 years of English top-flight football has ever won by a bigger margin away from home.
