Different week, same story. Another profitable weekend on Matchday 7 took us to 11-10 (+$1,005) on the season ahead of another tasty weekend in England's top flight.

Matchday 8 lacks marquee matchups, but it's all the same for us. Money is money, and there's more of it to be made.

Everton (+155) at Burnley (+180), Draw (+210)

It's hard not to have empathy for Everton supporters. Anticipation was high coming into the season after the club brought in a number of new signings, but reality has not met expectations thus far. Manager Marco Silva seemingly can't begin to solve the problems, and he must shoulder the lion's share of the blame considering his talented side is unable to create chances. The Toffees have scored just once away from home in three matches, and it won't be any easier against a stingy, underappreciated Burnley side.

The Clarets are both tenacious and organized, and they're exhausting to play against at Turf Moor. Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes are in excellent form, and they'll pose much more of a threat going forward than Dominic Calvert-Lewin will for Everton.

Pick: Burnley (+180)

Sheffield United (+210) at Watford (+115), Draw (+220)

These are desperate times for Watford. Seven games without a win to start the season has left them bottom of the table and already digging themselves into a relegation hole. Expect to see some urgency this week after the Hornets found a bit of rhythm in their last match at Vicarage Road, a 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

A defeat would be disastrous, but earning three points seems a bit ambitious given the current form of Sheffield United. Chris Wilder is finally starting to get the credit he deserves as a tactician, and his side should be able to extend its unbeaten run away from home to four matches.

Pick: Draw (+220)

Crystal Palace (+270) at West Ham (-110), Draw (+245)

Sooner or later, Crystal Palace are going to endure a brutal run of form that sees them dragged into the thick of the relegation scrap. My money is on the sooner, as there just aren't enough goals in their side.

West Ham hardly have the same issue. Sebastian Haller looks right at home in the Premier League, and Andriy Yarmolenko has been in scorching form in front of goal. The Hammers are unbeaten since opening day (against Manchester City) and are becoming one of the most enjoyable sides to watch in the top flight.

Palace manager Roy Hodgson has never won at West Ham in six attempts in the Premier League (two draws, four defeats), while Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has won all four of his league home fixtures against the Eagles.

Pick: West Ham (-110)

Manchester United (-125) at Newcastle (+320), Draw (+245)

These are two clubs in a real bad way, which are both desperately in need of something positive to happen. Their supporters have turned dangerously negative, and there hasn't been much of a silver lining for either side so far this season.

Newcastle have the same problem as Palace in that they can't score. There's no one in that lineup who strikes fear into opposing defenders. Meanwhile, Manchester United have individual quality among their forwards, but there's no cohesiveness about how they attack. The Magpies will park the bus in this match and the Red Devils simply won't have the creativity to break them down. It's going to be another dull affair on Tyneside.
