Paul Pogba is on the verge of returning for Manchester United.

Club manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed Tuesday that the French midfielder is set to play in the near future after recovering from an ankle injury.

"He'll probably get some minutes against Rochdale (in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday," Solskjaer said. "But we definitely think he’s ready for Arsenal (on Monday)."

Pogba has been out of action since picking up the ankle issue while on international duty with France earlier this month.

However, Solskjaer also confirmed that Marcus Rashford remains out after hurting his groin over the weekend against West Ham United.

The English forward's return remains uncertain, as the severity of his injury has yet to be determined.

Solskjaer added that Mason Greenwood is hoping to return this week after he missed Sunday's game due to tonsillitis.

United have won just two of their last 11 Premier League matches dating back to last season and sit eighth in the table with eight points following their 2-0 loss to West Ham.
