Crystal Palace have accepted an offer worth £50 million to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United, according to David Ornstein of BBC Sport.

The 21-year-old is expected to travel for a medical before putting pen to paper on a long-term contract reportedly worth £80,000 a week. He was the lowest-paid first-team player at Palace last season with a weekly wage of £10,000.

It's understood United will pay an initial fee of £45 million and that the deal is expected to cost a further £5 million with add-ons.

Palace had been reluctant to sell the right-back unless United waived the 25-percent sell-on clause in the 2015 deal that saw Wilfried Zaha move to Selhurst Park from Old Trafford. United refused, according to Ornstein, citing the bargain £6 million they accepted for the Ivorian.

The two teams reportedly met Monday to hash out the finer details of a deal after United failed to convince Palace to sell when they initially launched a £40-million bid.

United's initial offers included performance-related incentives - which were believed to include the Red Devils winning the Champions League - that Palace deemed "wildly unrealistic," according to Dominic Fifield of The Guardian.

The reported transfer makes Wan-Bissaka the team's fifth-most expensive signing, as well as its second summer signing after Daniel James joined United from Swansea City for a reported £15-million fee.

Wan-Bissaka made 39 appearances in all competitions during his first full season last year.
