Report: Manchester United demand £80M for Inter target Lukaku

Manchester United have told Internazionale that summer transfer target Romelu Lukaku will cost £80 million, according to ESPN FC's Rob Dawson.

Freshly appointed Inter boss Antonio Conte has apparently placed the towering Belgian striker atop his transfer wishlist after missing out on him in 2017 when he was the manager at Chelsea.

Inter are reportedly looking to sign Lukaku to a season-long loan with an obligation to buy, though United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely in no rush to move the player who's registered 42 goals in 96 appearances during two campaigns with the Red Devils.

Lukaku, who is under contract at United through 2022 following a £75-million move from Everton in 2017, is understood to be open to a transfer after he lost his spot to Marcus Rashford following Solskjaer's appointment.
