Incredible title race is being decided by millimeters

The margins have never been so fine.

Manchester City took another huge step towards retaining the Premier League title on Sunday, claiming a 1-0 victory over Burnley. The win sees Pep Guardiola's side leapfrog Liverpool for top spot once again; the Citizens now sit a point above the Reds with two matches remaining on the calendar.

Though City utterly dominated Sunday's encounter at Turf Moor, the decisive strike from Sergio Aguero - who else? - crossed the line by just 29.51 millimeters.

That strike, combined with John Stones' incredible goal-line clearance that helped City earn a vital 2-1 win over Liverpool back in January, means the league title could end up being decided by just over three centimeters.

Calling this back-and-forth bout atop the table a "game of inches" seems to undersell just how close the race to the finish line truly is.
