Most things have been going right for Manchester City this season, but Pep Guardiola's plans have been dealt a blow.

City striker Sergio Aguero suffered an abductor injury in training on Monday and is now not only out of the trip to Watford but also a doubt for Saturday's visit to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea, according to the Guardian's Jamie Jackson.

The Argentina forward played no part in the 3-1 home win over Bournemouth this weekend, marking the first Premier League game he had missed entirely this season.

That was reportedly due to muscle fatigue, but after the 30-year-old returned to training on Monday he suffered the more problematic issue during the session and could now be out for two weeks.

He will face tests to determine whether he can play any part Saturday in what is another big game in City's quest for total domination.
