Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says midfielder Naby Keita will likely sit out Saturday's trip to Huddersfield Town.

Keita strained his hamstring on duty for Guinea during the international break and was sent for a scan earlier this week.

Klopp says the 23-year-old is unlikely to play any part in West Yorkshire this weekend. "The only thing that is pretty sure is that Naby will not be available," he said on Friday, via the club's official website.

If he does indeed miss out, Saturday's bout will be the first of the Reds' Premier League fixtures this season in which the reported €60-million signing does not feature. So far, he's missed just the 3-2 Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain since joining the club this summer.

Other players with injury concerns, such as Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and James Milner, still have uncertain statuses.
