In pictures: Why did Mourinho lose his cool after last-gasp Barkley equalizer?

Ross Barkley's 96th-minute equalizer to deny Manchester United all three points against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge must have been hard for Jose Mourinho to take.

Imagine, then, his ire when Maurizio Sarri's second assistant coach, Marco Ianni, made a beeline for the United dugout to celebrate in front of the Portuguese boss and his staff.

It was a high-tension moment and produced some unsavory scenes at the final whistle. Mourinho's heated reaction may have risked further scrutiny from the Football Association - the 55-year-old is already facing a charge for allegedly making inappropriate comments on the touchline after his side's comeback win over Newcastle on Oct. 6.

However, despite the animosity, Mourinho and Sarri did share a handshake and a brief exchange of words after the dust had settled.
