Tempers boil over in technical area as Chelsea level late against United
Ross Barkley netted a dramatic 96th-minute equalizer to deny Manchester United another comeback and salvage a draw for Chelsea.
Saturday's result marked the first time Jose Mourinho left Stamford Bridge with at least a point since he took over the Red Devils in 2016, but it will feel like a defeat for many of the traveling contingent.
Mourinho was involved in a distasteful spat in the technical area following Barkley's leveler when he reacted to Marco Ianni, Maurizio Sarri's second assistant coach, celebrating right in front of him.

Chelsea were in control in the first half. Romelu Lukaku was limited to nine touches in United's attack, and the Blues seemed composed in their attacking play. Antonio Rudiger headed the home side into the lead when he lost Paul Pogba on a corner kick and met Willian's delivery.
United were more positive after Alvaro Morata wasted a chance early in the second stanza. Martial smashed in his first strike of the match when the ball deflected off Jorginho and into his path.
Mourinho's team started to press Chelsea's play from the back a little more, and were rewarded when Martial added his second. His first touch was heavy, but he cantered after the ball and wrapped his foot around it for a beautiful, swinging effort.
The introductions of Ander Herrera, Andreas Pereira and Alexis Sanchez were drawn out as United tried to see out the match, but Barkley punished the visitors when David De Gea's reactionary save on another Rudiger header fell to the former Everton midfielder's right trotter.
"The referee gave six minutes; normally when I am losing I never get six minutes. I do not know where the extra time came from," Mourinho said post-match, as quoted by the Guardian's Scott Murray. "We always tried to play, even in extra time. But that is football."
It doesn't get any easier for United. Next, they face Juventus at Old Trafford in Tuesday's Champions League action, while Chelsea welcome Belarusian outfit BATE Borisov in the Europa League two days later.
