Frank Lampard won't forget his first match as a manager, as Derby County scored an injury-time goal to secure a 2-1 victory over Reading on the opening day of the Championship season.

Despite taking all three points, Friday's encounter began on a sour note for the Chelsea legend, who was subjected to chants of "boring, boring" from the Derby faithful when the team went into halftime facing a 1-0 deficit.

But the momentum shifted in the visitor's direction late in the match, when Tom Lawrence's arching header in the 94th minute capped off the comeback at the Madejski Stadium.

Lampard's next test will take place at Pride Park Stadium, where Derby will host Leeds United on Aug. 11.
