It's been a busy few weeks since Unai Emery took charge at Arsenal.

After completing a deal to sign Stephan Lichtsteiner last week, the Premier League side has entered into talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a deal to sign goalkeeper Bernd Leno, according to Jeremy Wilson of The Telegraph.

Leno is expected to cost the Gunners £20 million and the potential deal could lead to Arsenal selling either Petr Cech or David Ospina - who both have one year remaining on their respective contracts - this summer.

News of Arsenal's interest in the German goalkeeper comes on the heels of reported talks with Sampdoria over the possibility of signing Lucas Torreira. The Uruguayan is said to be one of Arsenal's top targets as the club attempts to find an upgrade at central midfield.

Arsenal is understood to be prepared to pay over £25 million to secure Torreira's services if an agreement is reached that allows the transfer fee to be paid over multiple years.

Elsewhere, negotiations with Borussia Dortmund are reportedly ongoing as Arsenal attempts to further bolster its backline with the possible arrival of Sokratis Papastathopoulos. A deal for the 29-year-old centre-back is expected to cost £16 million but likely won't be confirmed until next month.

Emery's entire summer budget will have been spent if Arsenal is successful in signing its reported targets, although more funds could potentially be made available through the sales of various players at the club.
